Omaha poker game is a another variation of poker that is quite similar to the Texas Holdem game. In this game, a player must be able to create five-card poker hand from the community cards and the pocket cards. This game makes use of a 52-card deck and the players can reach up to ten seats.

In Omaha Poker, the number of cards being dealt that is faced down is different from Texas holdem. The players are given four cards instead of two cards. But still, the players are dealt with 5 community cars that they can use. The amount of cards that the players receive will total to 9 cards which they can use in creating a great hand. The players however, must make use of the two pocket cards an the three community cards in making the best five hands. The reason for this is that the number of crds to choose from is abundant. The hands in an Omaha Poker game is stronger as compared to Texas Holdem.

In Omaha poker game, players can reach up to four betting rounds granting that there must be two players left playing and battling for the jackpot money. If all the players have already folded, then pot money and the game goes to the last player standing. At the first betting round, players will be given four cards that are faced down. After which the dealer will place 3 community cards facing up to the center. The players can use these cards to form their best hands. The next round of betting is called the "turn" where in it involves placing 1 community card facing up at the center of the table. The last round of betting is called the river, it involves placing another card facing up at the center. In every round, the players can place a bet, fold or raise stakes. Omaha poker players often settles for the flop before they fold because of the reason that this game involves more cards and there is a possibility that the good cards will come out in the later part of the game.

Needless to say, Omaha poker game is more complicated as compared to the Texas Holdem game because the players must be good in guessing four cards and not only two cards. Also the players need to use two pocket cards and 3 community cards, thus, the possibilities of having a wining combination is wider.
